Joy, Happiness and Hope In One’s life – Part One

Improving one’s spirituality is a constant journey. Whether you are looking to bring more peace into your life or are seeking to improve your personal levels of success, focusing on the emotions of joy, happiness and hope can dramatically improve the results you experience on a daily basis and your overall state of well being. By focusing on each state of being and through implementation of daily techniques, you can improve your own levels of joy, happiness and hope. The end result will be an improved state of mind and an overall improvement in your personal well being.
Joy
If you are seeking to increase happiness within your life, or to balance out the feelings of sorrow, then the practice of focusing on joy may be the perfect solution. Joy refers to a spiritual practice grown from gratitude, hope, love, grace and faith. When someone is described as joyful, they have the ability to display elation in response to feelings of happiness or experiences which bring pleasure. Other people experience joy when they are able to serve others, delighting in their ability to bring good fortune to others.

So, you may be wondering how you can invite more joy into your own life.The first proven method of inviting more joy into your own life is to stage a celebration. Birthday’s, rights of passage, anniversaries and other celebrations mark transitions or changes within a person’s life. When you toast these occasions, jump for joy, feeling the importance of these moments within your life or within the lives of those around you whom you love.

The other method for inviting more joy into your life is to enjoy more of life’s simplest pleasures. Take notice of the little things surrounding you in your daily life. Begin to show gratitude for the smallest of things. Over time, you will learn to experience joy whenever you deem it fit. And, you will attract more of the same into your own life.
The practice of joy is about focusing on the positive within your life. When you implement this practice within your life over time, you will increase your level of happiness, balancing out any feelings of sadness or sorrow within your life.
